I’ve been mentored by Rachel Weaver, author of Oprah Book Club selection, POINTS OF DIRECTION, through Lighthouse Writers Workshop’s Book Project, a two-year program working with writers to craft and revise their manuscripts. I live in Denver, CO with my husband, octogenarian mother, a three-legged pup named Trout, and other assorted mammals (of human and other varieties) needing residence. I squeeze writing in between: assisting international adoptees in exploring their country and culture of birth through travel and reconnections with biological family, playing bridge with women over seventy-five, exploring libraries, cuddling random dogs, and vacations at the lake where HONEYSUCKLE AND HEAVEN is based.
